Arcadia Finance is not a registered credit provider. It passes your details to partner lenders. The lender you are matched with sets the rate, fees and term, and must be registered with the NCR. Check that lender's NCR number before you sign.
About Arcadia Finance
Arcadia Finance is an online loan comparison service for South Africans. It says it "is an online loan comparison tool and not a credit provider". You fill in one form and receive offers from up to 19 lenders. Loans range from R500 to R350,000 over 6 to 72 months.
Arcadia is run by Draivi Media Oy, a Finnish company (business ID FI-24645516). It passes your application to its partner Myloan.co.za. Arcadia says it only works with NCR-registered credit providers. It is free and the offers are non-binding.
Rates are set by the lender you choose. Arcadia quotes rates from 11% up to a maximum APR of 28%. Its example: R30,000 over 36 months at 28% costs about R1,360 a month, including fees. You must be over 18 and employed for more than 6 months.
What Arcadia Finance says a loan costs
Arcadia Finance's own example: "Estimated repayments on a loan of R30 000 over 36 months at a maximum annual interest rate of 28% would be R1 360 per month including an initiation fee and monthly service fees."
Fees as published: Free to use: "It is completely free and non-binding to compare loans using Arcadia Finance online." Lenders may charge an initiation fee and a monthly service fee.
The lender you are matched with must give you a written quotation first. Compare the total amount you will repay, not only the rate.
Arcadia Finance requirements
